Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

In this position, you will be an integral leader of the NSG FW development and validation activities specifically leading the successful definition, planning, development and verification of FW for Intel's cutting edge SSD products.

As the First line manager your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

-Working directly with Marketing, architects and your firmware development & verification team to analyze product definitions, identify FW design requirements and build out FW development strategies & plans resulting in the successful execution plan and robust products.

-Build and grow a strong team with culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

-Through your leadership you will set clear expectations and hold team members accountable and incentivize proactive issue resolution to delivery world class products.

-Facilitate all product management aspects of the assigned products including managing the backlog, schedules and coordinating all FW activities across the team to accomplish committed milestones.

-Develop resourcing, development and sustaining plans.

-Ensure program roadblocks are identified, corrective action plans identified and executed to closure.

-Identify and drive to closure continuous process improvement efforts to improve organizational efficiency.
