The Electronic Design Automation (EDA) team in Systems and Technology Group (STG) is hiring Co-Op development software engineers to support our tools. We develop industry-leading hardware for IBM Systems, storage, and related products.
EDA development software engineers participate in various aspects of the development, testing, and deployment of programs and methodologies such as: circuit design tools, logic design tools, verification tools, timing and noise analysis tools, synthesis tools, physical design and layout tools, simulation tools, and power optimization tools.
- Candidates should have programming (for example, C++, C, Java, VHDL, Verilog), design, test, and communication skills.
- Software development background is a plus.
- Team-based experience in circuit/logic design, power systems, synthesis, verification, analysis or testing is a plus. Candidates with at least 6 months of team-based working experience with our product set are preferred.
Positions may be available in different locations, including: Hopewell Junction and Poughkeepsie, NY and Austin, TX
