An exciting newly created position of Senior Communications Officer has recently become available within a fast growing government department.
This role is responsible for developing and delivering a broad range of customer information services. You will also play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategy within this growing team. You will enhance customer information channels by working in partnership with internal and external stake holders. You will develop and implement information campaigns and communications strategies for specific projects, such as road shows and liaising with various departments. You will develop a strategy and promotional material to market customer information, products and services by analysing data and research.
Within this role customer satisfaction is of the highest priority and you will be a point of contact for any person. There will be some state-wide travel with this role to regional areas to promote the department and its services.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, extensive experience in developing communication strategies, experience in developing and implementing marketing plans and promotional material. It is essential that you have a proven high level communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining professional relationships with key people both inside and outside the organisation. You must also have extensive demonstrated experience in building and maintaining external stakeholder relationships.
