The CSfM Solution Architect (SA) is a key person responsible for managing the positioning, development & implementation of a Client solution in relation to CSfM in Japan. In addition to product specialist responsibilities, you must have a broad product knowledge and technology skill-set and be able to focus on Microsoft Communication and Collaboration technologies and associated products.
The CSfM SC will be involved in interaction with field sales, pre-sales and Clients in conjunction with the CSfM Sales Specialist, etc.
The CSfM SC will also work directly with the Global CSfM Solution Architect & Regional ITaaS colleagues in his/her geography.
The CSfM SC will have the key responsibility to craft the CSfM solution for clients – taking into consideration the client’s existing environment, defining the cloud readiness activities, the solution architecture with CSfM at its core, the on boarding process and the overall solution design
They work in close collaboration with Global & Regional leads from multiple BU and SU, particularly the EUC and Communications BU, the Services SU, the ITaaS and ITO SU’s.
Sales account planning:
The CSfM SC will work directly with the CSfM Sales Specialists and DD Sales field on Client engagement/qualification and account planning. The CSfM SC is also responsible for guiding the sales team to forecast, influence & close their deals.
Pre-Sales best practice:
We will expect you to develop pre-sales capability and capacity in Japan. The CSfM SC will work with the broader Global community to capture and share best practice around CSfM.
The CSfM SC provides the overall vision of the desired Client outcomes and the proposed solution and is the link between the needs of the Client and the product management and implementation (project) teams.
Client demonstration and proof of concept:
CSfM SC manages Client demonstrations and POC/test account initiatives including set-up and delivery. They help the CSfM Sales Specialist or Country Sales field to close these deals post successful POC.
CSfM SC will promote a consultative engagement, led by Dimension Data consultants using an assessment-led approach, to help Clients understand their business productivity requirements & investment options in relation to retaining on premise solutions or starting to consume cloud-enabled service products. While the CSfM SC is focused around driving CSfM engagements, he/she should position CSfM as one element of the cloud services spectrum that Dimension Data can deliver. The CSfM SC is expected to also deliver some of these activities – and to assist regional teams to build scale based on success.
Client transition & delivery:
CSfM SC will drive best practice for Client transition and delivery in Japan.
Competitor & other GTM Partners/Vendors SWOT:
An important part of the job is to maintain strong vendor relationships in order to understand their business and positioning in the marketplace.
Client presentations and proposals:
Excellent Client presentation skills will be provided as part of the buying cycle, with particular focus on building Client confidence and technical understanding of the Dimension Data CSfM value proposition. The CSfM SC will assist with the development and delivery of key Client proposals.
The CSfM SC will work closely with the CSfM Sales Specialist as well as with BU and SU colleagues representing Region and Global Solution Architect teams.
